Rachel Nix leads editorial content for Building Kentucky, a digital plaftorm for advocates, resource providers and community leaders interested in building business, culture and infrastructure in Kentucky.

She joined the C2 Strategic Communications team, which operates Building Kentucky, in 2019 where she serves as senior strategist and was named managing editor of Building Kentucky in January 2020. Her work for C2 Strategic utilizes her news media background and nearly a decade of strategic communications experience to help clients tell their stories.

Her work overseeing Building Kentucky includes managing expansions of industry-related content, the launch of a new website and an increased focus on engaging digital storytelling through images and video.

Nix is a Muncie, Indiana native and a graduate of Ball State University. She resides in Louisville’s Clifton neighborhood and proudly shares her love for Louisville and her favorite spirit as an Executive Bourbon Steward in Stave & Thief Society and Certified Louisville Tourism Ambassador.
