Logan Pichel joined Republic Bank in May of 2020 as President and added the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Republic Bank and Republic Bancorp, Inc. Director in October of 2021. Since joining the Republic team nearly one and a half years ago, Pichel’s leadership and influence has enhanced every aspect of the Bank’s culture and operations. Pichel is building on a culture of caring that is second to none — one that extends to associates, clients and the communities it serves.
Republic Bank, established in 1982, has over $6 billion in assets and 42 banking centers in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, and Florida. Republic Bank was recognized for the sixth time in 2021 as one of the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky,” and recently was named as one of Newsweek’s 2022 America’s Best Banks. Republic prides itself on being a values driven organization and investing in the communities where it operates through community development efforts and its associates volunteer work.
Prior to joining Republic, Pichel worked at Regions Bank, one of the nation’s largest consumer and commercial banks, for 15 years where he held various leadership positions in Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Operations, Consumer Lending and Mortgage. Prior to his time at Regions, Pichel held leadership roles at several other banks, and started his career in finance at General Motors. Logan earned a Bachelor of Finance from Ohio Northern University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Logan and his wife, Kristin are originally from Michigan and have 3 adult children who live in Tennessee, Michigan, and Mississippi.
