Dan Mann lis the executive director at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) and Bowman Field (LOU). Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport ranks second in North America – and fourth in the world – in the total amount of cargo handled, as Louisville is home to the United Parcel Service (UPS) International air-sorting hub.

Mann became executive director in Louisville in March 2018. Prior to his current position, he served as the executive director for Columbia Metropolitan Airport where he spearheaded a $58 million capital improvement program, which included various sustainability initiatives such as the development of a five-acre solar farm on the airport’s campus.

Mann’s work as executive director launched the SDF Next Project last year, which kicked off a comprehensive terminal and airfield program aimed at investing more than $400 million in ongoing improvements and enhancements in the coming years. In addition, the airport opened a Mother’s Room with multiple private suites, added its innovative pet therapy program SDF WAGS and began the SDF Tours Program in partnership with Jefferson County Public Schools.

Mann graduated from Bowling Green State University graduate.
