Brian Thieneman is president and CEO of RJ Thieneman. In his role, Brian leads the company’s efforts to expand retail space throughout the region and create new residential communities across Kentuckiana focused on connecting people and places.

Prior to taking the helm of the family-owned real estate company, Brian spent much of his career learning from his dad and following the company’s guiding principles: RJ’s Way. His father left a lasting legacy on the company and stressed the importance of making a positive difference in the community.

That’s why Brian and his entire team are always on the lookout for new opportunities to get involved and lend a helping hand, whether it is volunteering at local nonprofits, participating in awareness walks or building homes with Habitat for Humanity.

As Brian makes clear, “We started as a family business and consider the Louisville community an extension of our family.”

Brian is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.

For over six decades, RJ Thieneman has developed nearly two dozen communities in the Louisville area, specializing in commercial real estate, and currently manages over 1 million square feet of retail, multi-family and warehouse space.
