Volunteers of America Mid-States has kicked off its “Hope for the Holidays” campaign. You can help by donating much needed items like hygiene products, food, winter clothing, toys and more to support families in need.
To see the wish list, drop off locations or to donate online, visit VOA Hope for Holidays . Additionally, on Friday, December 20, $2 from the purchase of a Peppermint Mocha at any Heine Brothers location will be donated to VOA.
Here’s how your donation helps:
- $50 – provides one child with a new coat and one toy.
- $75 – provides one family with personal hygiene items and two toys.
- $100 – provides one family with a gift card to use at budget friendly stores for holiday shopping.
“Our annual Hope for the Holidays campaign ensures that the families we serve across all our programs can enjoy the season’s festivities. With your support, the individuals and children we serve will experience a much brighter holiday season,” says Jennifer Hancock, President and Chief Executive Officer, VOA Mid-States.
Last holiday season, VOA helped some 500 families in need.
Volunteers of America Mid-States creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. Its services reach Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana.
