UPS completes transformative facility, distribution expansion at Louisville hub

Kentucky is making its stake as a national leader in global distribution and logistics with the help of UPS. The company recently completed a $310 million Centennial Ground hub expansion in Louisville – helping bring 300 jobs to the area.

The expansion project, located at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, tripled the size of the UPS facility to over 1 million square feet and doubled the company’s sorting capacity to 85,000 packages per hour.

“We are grateful for our strong, enduring partnership with UPS and for the company’s powerful impact upon the workforce, economy and community of the Louisville region,” Governor Matt Bevin, said.
