UPS Grows Again: 1,000 new jobs with $750 million in expansion

Leaders announced $750 million in upcoming projects, as well as 1,000 jobs. The largest of the projects is a $220 million maintenance facility that will allow UPS to more quickly service its fleet.

“These projects are part of UPS’s overall strategy to make investments in its global logistics network to enable continued growth in strategic markets,” said UPS Airlines President Brendan Canavan. “That includes an infrastructure that allows us to continue providing our customers with safe, reliable and on-time service.”

These investments highlight global demand for Next Day Air delivery. High-paying positions needed include pilots, aircraft mechanics and support staff.
