Clients complimenting the bank’s quick responses related to loan assistance, digital banking and more prompted Republic Bank CEO Steve Trager to tell his team how they were making a noticeable difference in their customers’ lives. He pridefully shared the kind words on his daily video call with division heads, which sparked an idea—this should be shared externally, as the bank’s next commercial.
Quick work by the Republic Bank team and marketing experts at C2 Strategic Communications led to a powerful and authentic 30-second spot titled “We’re Here For You.” The commercial also pays tribute to Republic Bank’s dedicated employees, whose faces surround Trager as he gives a daily update via video conference.
“Our clients need us now more than ever,” Trager says to his team in the commercial. The bank has leveraged modern technologies typically associated with large national banks to better accommodate its customers, while maintaining a strong community focus. Republic Bank is offering a range of measures to ease hardships during COVID-19 including short-term loan payment relief, potential long-term loan modification options, and temporary suspension of some fees.
The “We’re Here For You” commercial is currently airing on broadcast and cable channels in Louisville, Lexington and northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, as well as Nashville, Tenn., Tampa/St. Pete, Fla. and social and digital channels.
