A Request for Proposal has been issued by Purdue University to develop, design, build, finance, operate and maintain two new residence halls through a public-private partnership.
“The creation of new undergraduate housing will help address an existing wait list,” said Michael B. Cline, Purdue vice president for administrative operations, “and by using a P3 to deliver the project, there will be significant opportunities to save time and money.”
The project will welcome 1,100 news beds to the university’s existing housing department. RFP’s are expected by April 20, with construction expected to begin following commercial close in October 2018.
