Omni Louisville Hotel offers gift of rest to front-line health workers

The Omni Louisville Hotel is helping dozens of front-line health workers have a happier holiday.
The downtown Louisville luxury hotel coordinated with Louisville hospitals to match hard-working health care professionals with a free night’s stay as a thank you for their hard work this year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Stay Safe, Stay Rested” initiative lasts three weeks spreading good cheer and relaxation to health workers from UofL, Baptist and Norton hospitals. Each hospital group identified front-line workers to receive the room gifts.
With occupancy expected to be low for the foreseeable future due to the impacts of COVID-19, Omni Louisville Hotel sees this as a creative way to give back during this difficult holiday season.
“Sometimes just a change in scenery makes a big difference in your well-being,” said Stuckey. “Staying in a hotel in your hometown during the pandemic is a way for people to take a break from staying at home while still maintaining safe and healthy practices such as social distancing.”
Omni Louisville Hotel reopened in late August, welcoming back corporate and leisure travelers while following strict protocols for a safe, clean and comfortable guest experience.
Guests are encouraged to support downtown Louisville’s authentic and unique local businesses for curbside or outdoor dining and safe holiday shopping during their stay.
