Nonstop flight from Louisville to Charleston announced

Nonstop flights are important for business, reducing travel time and enhancing productivity. The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) will begin seasonal nonstop service to Charleston in May – and has also recently added nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, New Orleans and Los Angeles.

The new seasonal nonstop service from Louisville and Charleston International Airport (CHS) will begin May 22. The twice-weekly flights to Charleston, S.C. will be offered on Mondays and Fridays by Allegiant Air.

The airline will operate the flight using an Airbus A319 with 156 seats. Allegiant currently offers 11 destinations departing from Louisville including Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, New Orleans, Orlando-Sanford, Punta Gorda, Saint Petersburg-Clearwater, Sarasota and Savannah-Hilton Head.

In total, Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport offers 33 nonstop destinations on six different airlines.
