New Hampshire Mayor Proposes New Commuter Rail at No Cost to City

New commuting options for Nashua, N.H., are on the horizon as the mayor creates a proposal to construct a commuter rail line with a private railroad company.
The agreement, which will be proposed to the Board of Alderman, will create the partnership between the city of Nashua and the Boston Surface Railroad Co.
Mayor Jim Donchess says the commuter line will operate on a for-profit basis after opening, alleviating costs from the city.
