Louisville Business First recognizes C2 Strategic’s Kerri Richardson

Kerri Richardson is the President and Chief Business Development Officer at C2 Strategic Communications.

Kerri Richardson, President and Chief Business Development Officer of C2 Strategic Communications, was named a Business Women First Enterprising Woman by Louisville Business First. 

Richardson was selected alongside 24 other business leaders in Louisville and its surrounding area. As President and Chief Business Development Officer, Richardson leads C2’s client development in Kentucky and Indiana and advises high-level clients who intersect with public policy, community development, media and government. Her deep experience in health care, economic development and education helps government agencies, private businesses and communities work together to achieve shared goals. 

Before she joined C2 Strategic, Richardson served as communications director and chief spokesperson for Gov. Steve Beshear, leading policy messaging across the Executive Branch. Richardson was named National Communicator of the Year in 2014 by the National Association of Government Communicators for her work on Medicaid expansion and Affordable Care Act implementation. She also served as a spokeswoman for former Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson and won two Emmys during a nine-year television reporting career.
