KY parks department seeks information on P3 campground
The Kentucky Department of State Parks is exploring a possible public-private partnership to develop a new campground at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, 21 miles southeast of Paducah in western Kentucky.
The department seeks information from private developers about building and operating a campground on a 150-acre section of land known as Gobbler’s Knob. The campground would include improved sites with electric and water as well as primitive sites, wi-fi access, bathhouses and playgrounds.
Based on what it learns, the department might then develop a request for proposal for the project.
