Homearama goes virtual for 2020 home showcase

The annual tour of Louisville’s finest homes will go virtual in 2020. The yearly Homearama showcase organized by the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville (BIA) will feature self-guided 3D tours online at Homearama.comstarting July 20. Organizers moved to an online-only format to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also allows anyone to tour the homes at any time day or night, rain or shine, embracing technology to continue this popular yearly event.

This year’s Homearama, built in Norton Commons in northeast Louisville, features nine fully furnished and landscaped dream homes. Visitors to the online Homearama can click through rooms, examine furnishings up close and discover designers and vendors all from the comfort and safety of their homes. Guests can even win prizes for finding hidden items in home tours.

Featured homes this year directly face Oval Park, the largest park in the community consisting of eight acres of mature trees, a walking bridge and numerous trails. The Homearama site is also adjacent to the lakefront amphitheater and the new North Village Market and retail cottages.
