Communities across Kentucky will soon have an opportunity to secure funding for local substance abuse prevention efforts aimed at reducing alcohol, nicotine and cannabis use.
The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky is now accepting applications for its Partnerships for Success grant program, which supports evidence-based prevention strategies in communities considered at higher risk across the Commonwealth.
Through the initiative, eligible organizations may receive up to $50,000 in funding over a 12-month period, with grant terms running through August 31, 2027. Final award amounts will vary depending on the size and scope of each proposed project.
The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky administers the Partnerships for Success program as part of a pass-through grant supported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Grant funding is intended to support prevention-focused strategies related to alcohol, nicotine (including vaping) and cannabis, with an emphasis on evidence-based approaches that can create long-term community impact.
Applications are due June 15. Additional information, including eligibility requirements and proposal criteria, is available through the foundation’s website at healthy-ky.org/partnerships-for-success.
