Florida School District Saves $1.1 Million By Reducing School Bus Emissions

A Florida school district has saved more than $1.1 million by partnering with Nopetro to reduce vehicle emissions released from their school bus fleet.

The Leon County school district partnered with the compressed natural gas provider in 2012 and was the first partnership of its kind in Florida. The installation of CNG fueling stations for the school bus fleet has reduced emissions by 90 percent over the past five year.
