Dress for Success Louisville and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid in Kentucky are collaborating to host a series of events that empower women in the Greater Louisville area so they can achieve economic independence. These events will provide women a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to thrive.
The “HealthyHER” Women’s Health Series will be held quarterly at various locations in and around Jefferson County and will feature subject matter experts provided by Anthem Medicaid. Topics will include mental health in the first quarter, substance use disorder in the second quarter, birth and prenatal care in the third quarter, and nutritional and physical wellness in the fourth quarter.
“We are beyond excited to continue forming connections with women in our community,” said Monet Becker, Dress for Success Executive Director. “This unique partnership will allow us to empower women who dream of building a successful life for themselves. We are so grateful for the support and longstanding commitment from Anthem Medicaid to help more women define and champion lifelong success.”

The Mobile Career Center also includes dressing rooms, a laptop computer workstation, one-on-one mentoring area and storage for clothing and accessories.
The Mobile Career Center allows Dress for Success to expand its reach to women in outlying areas who otherwise may not be able to obtain the tools, resources and assistance needed to enter or re-enter the workforce.
“From confidence to clothing, Anthem Medicaid is proud to support Dress for Success to ensure women have the resources, tools, and attire they need to flourish in both work and life,” said Leon Lamoreaux, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid President in Kentucky. “For over 80 years, Anthem has actively worked to improve lives and communities across the Commonwealth. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are pleased to help all women realize their full potential and transform their lives.”
