October was a landmark month for C2 Strategic Communications, Louisville’s largest public relations firm.
The firm, which has offices in Louisville and Lexington along with Indianapolis, Indiana, continues to grow to best serve its transportation, government and business services clients.
C2 Strategic recently announced the addition of Thomas George, a trailblazing journalist, as a senior director. George will focus on attracting new clients and diverse talent to the regional public relations firm and help lead efforts to recruit and mentor more communicators of color, including formalizing a minority internship program.
Other new hires at the firm include Cory McCauley, a former television news reporter, as a staff strategist and Brooke Griffiths, a seasoned creative artist, as a graphic designer.
The communications professionals at C2 Strategic took home four awards at the annual Public Relations Society of America – Bluegrass Chapter’s Landmarks of Excellence Awards.
