A cleaner Louisville starts with partnership. Louisville Metro Public Works announced that the city is partnering with the Brightside Foundation and Louisville-based Sazerac Company to reduce and prevent litter in areas with the greatest need.
As part of the partnership, Sazerac is funding the installation of more than a dozen new litter bins, which Louisville Metro Public Works is placing in high-priority locations identified through Metro311 data to help reduce litter before it accumulates.
Announcement of the partnership attracted media outlets that included WHAS-TV and WAVE-TV. You can read about the coverage on WHAS and WAVE, and also learn more about the partnership here.
